The NITRO comes from a design driven by the need of competitive surfers to operate with a wide manoeuvre repertoire. Sunova Team Riders claimed that they were “totally blowing up on this board” so we named it the Nitro.

Generous curve through the middle of the plan-shape and a low rail designed for release. This combination gives the Nitro the ability to generate speed from the moment you stand up. The Nitro has the wide point pulled back, and a long nose entry so you can react spontaneously to split-second situations. That's almost like #thoughtcontroll.
